This attorney did more damage than provide assistance. She filed a seemingly well thought out reply to complaint filed against me but actually 'dropped the ball', is what I am told by a few other attorneys who reviewed her work. The result of her dropping the ball on it, i.e., she should have file...d a counter-suit within the reply, on top of her not responding to my calls, allowed the statue of limitations to run out thus leaving me at a loss the amount of which is not small. When I was within the statue of limitations, I called and e-mailed her once a week. I then called or e-mailed her once a month to get some idea of what my expectations were. She never replied. Attorneys make mistakes and can even have a different perspective on best strategy, but, given that she wouldn't return calls when I was still within statue of limitations and today she still won't explain her strategy, I think this is an attorney to stay away from. At no charge, she still cost me too much. I also have worked with several other attorneys and I'm considered an easy client only expecting to be updated on progress once every 4-6 weeks, and, I know that not every effort will produce a win.
