A case where my client had to fight an order of protection that was filed against him by his live-in girlfriend. After cross-examining the alleged "victim" for two and a half hours on the stand, all th ... e while she can't remember many details or outright lies, the petitioner alleged victim agrees to drop the order of protection voluntarily before I was ready to put on our evidence that would have showed she was lying on the stand. This almost never happens where there is also a pending Domestic Battery against the Respondent. That Domestic Trial case is pending....results to come on that one.

This was an Aggravated Battery case where we believed my client had a self-defense argument.
