Rosalyn Maldonado

Rosalyn Maldonado is the founder of Rosalyn Maldonado P.C. She is a skilled litigation attorney with extensive experience in state and federal courts and expertise in diverse areas of the law. Her practice consists primarily of litigation at all stages in the areas of construction, real estate, labor, matrimonial, general corporate matters, collection defense and general contractual disputes. Her transactional work includes commercial and residential leases, purchase and sale of real property, consulting and employment agreements, LLC agreements, and general corporate governance.

She has been in practice for over twenty (20) years, including ten (10) years in which she served as Deputy General Counsel for Red Apple Group, Inc., the parent corporation of numerous subsidiaries with diverse holdings, the most notable being Gristede’s Supermarkets.

After leaving Red Apple Group, Inc., Ms. Maldonado joined a boutique litigation defense firm where she spent eight (8) years further sharpening her litigation skills in both federal and state courts. Her extensive transactional and negotiation experiences afford her a unique insight into litigation matters and make her extremely effective in assessing and evaluating cases.

After many years in practice groups, she has now ventured out on her own, and with strategic partnerships, can afford her clients maximum attention and individualized concern allowing her to offer a more holistic approach to her clients’ matters.

She has a passion for the law and serving her clients. Her results oriented approach is her trademark. With concern for her client’s expectations, she is driven to work towards a practical solution to fulfill the client’s highest objectives.

Ms. Maldonado received her J.D. at Fordham School of Law and is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She is a graduate of Brandeis University, cum laude, with High Honors in Sociology. She is fluent in Spanish. She serves as a mentor to future attorneys. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Fordham School of Law Alumni Association, Brandeis University Alumni Association and a participant in the “Cafecito” networking organization for Latina attorneys from the New York City area.
