Very satisfied

Tom was my attorney for the closing of a co-op that I sold in November 2015. He was efficient and dealt with a not so easy to deal with management company. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I basically just showed up for the closing. He took care of everything from soup to nuts with no problem at... all. Co-op closings can be difficult and mine was smooth sailing.

Deed Issue

House closing, Wills and Estate planning

Last year my husband and I sold our home and re-located. Mr. McGovern handled all of these things for us. He was always professional and courteous and handled all our affairs simultaneously. It was a pleasure to work with him on these very critical life issues. We would highly recommend him

Life estate, power of attorney

Thomas McGovern handled some issues with my home a couple of years back- in particular setting up a life estate and power of attorney. His explainations were thorough yet simple. I don't drive so he came to my home which was extremely helpful. His rates were also very reasonable. Very good lawye...r and great person!

Will Probate

Mr. McGovern probated a will for my family in 2012. It was done in a very timely fashion, and he kept all family members informed and up to date. He also did a power of attorney and life estate for my mom...all work done perfectly!
