Educate yourself about everything

Terry Katz came highly recommended by 2 people so I put my trust in that and his supposed experience. Its 4 years, in settlement negotiations and now this will be the 4th time I wish I would have fired him. One important issue was that the insurance company's doctor RAISED my degree of disability af...ter another IME. I was very happy as this should have meant an increase in my benefits. I waited and waited and then finally called the office to ask if they read the IME and how much more would I be getting. The paralegal would get back to me. She didn't but I received a hearing notice. My disability was raised from mild to moderate. Its too embarrassing to write what Terry himself got for me. Everytine I asked about a final settlement I was never given an answer. Never informed about future medical till recently and then found out its paid out over decades. Now again the medical settlement is being held up because the office sent incorrect info. When i have complained about no one in the office knowing enough about my case and the errors and incompetence I found I was told I can always get another attorney. This was already said twice and as the case was over 3 years he and I both knew the difficulty with that. I feel his office pushed me to settle the financial part for a very lowball offer and scaring me of what may happen if we went to trial. Nothing is explained. You're not encouraged to come in and discuss concerns. I did go in and was on the phone with the office when I saw that no one was on TOP of my case. You put your faith and trust in their expertise and expect them to work for your best future financial and medical interest but that's not my experience with Terry Katz. Im looking to contact the WC board help department and see if I can get someone else this late in the case. Not reliable. Not proactive and I guess a couple of thousand from many clients for a shoddy representation makes up for the lack of larger cases. And don't blame yourself. I did that. Im not their only client. They're busy. They know more than me. Educate yourself and fight for your future because Terry Katz will not
