Growing up in the vibrant city of London to Indian parents, I was immersed in a rich blend of cultural experiences. London's cosmopolitan atmosphere taught me to embrace diversity and cherish the multitude of traditions coexisting harmoniously.
My educational journey in the U.S. began at Nassau Community College, where I earned my A.A. Degree. Fueled by a passion for excellence, I was honored to receive the Presidential Transfer Scholarship to St. John’s University, where I obtained my B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. During my time at St. John's, I excelled academically, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning a place on The National Dean's List.
Driven to pursue a career in law, I continued my studies at St. John’s University School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree in 2010. My legal education not only equipped me with the necessary skills but also instilled in me a commitment to integrity, justice, and community service.
Upon entering the legal profession, I initially practiced Collection law. However, I soon realized my true passion lay in Immigration Law. In 2014, I took a bold step and established my own law firm, Preet Chhabra, P.C., focusing exclusively on immigration matters such as marriage-based and family-based green cards, as well as naturalization petitions.
Looking ahead, I am eager to expand my practice and assist more individuals navigating the complexities of immigration law. My aim is to provide clarity and support to clients seeking to sponsor their loved ones or embark on the path to citizenship. With a commitment to excellence and a dedication to defending immigrant rights, I am poised to continue making a positive impact in Immigration Law.
