Professional Attorney that takes a personal interest
When I explained my situation, Mr. Witkon made me feel at ease. He took my case and from the inception I did not need to worry about the outcome.

Wonderful Long Island attorney. Experienced and friendly
David helped me with my home closing. He made everything simple for me and was able to answer every question through the process. His fees were extremely reasonable and was able to work with me well. I would absolutely recommend him for any real estate transaction. And would suggest him for his othe...

Talks big, very little real action
David will sell you the dream about all the things he will do for you before you pay his fee. After you pay, you will be lucky to get him on the phone. Every time you call it will be forwarded to an automated reception service that takes down your phone number like you've never called before. Emails ...
We strive to answer our calls fast - generally get you back within 24 hours. And yes - i rely on some automation because otherwise i'd get swamped. I do allow texts within certain limits. If we missed the mark with your file - contact me and we will make it right. That said, unfortunately - evictions are extremely difficult and challenging since both the 2019 change in the law and particularly the pandemic. Evictions are never a 'great experience' Since early 2020 I have advised my clients of the of the pitfalls and slowdowns related to the eviction moratoria and man alive - I do not sell at all. I do talk alot though ... part of my personality and i get into my topics. But before I proceed with new clients, I usually say that I would prefer not to take the file then have them mad at me because evictions are so slow lately, and let the client decide. Best regards to all in any event.

Poor performance
I hired Mr. Witkon based on these Avvo reviews, and quickly realized he was not what the reviews stated he was, but a inarticulate, poorly informed person, who did not have command of the law. He gave misinformation to myself, and I had to take him to arbitration to retrieve my money. I won! Stay ...
Definitely missed the mark here. My instincts said not to take this file and man alive - i will rely on those instincts in the future. Obviously cannot post specifics but ... all the signs were there and family vs family evictions can be a huge 'red light' ... Nonetheless - this was my only fee dispute - and ... we ended up splitting it 50/50. Nobody 'won' Regards to all.
