Legal Excellence

Mrs. Fouche and Ms. Reilly took excellent care of me during my divorce. I contacted Mrs. Fouche on a referral from my father whom had used her many years before. She and her staff were amazing and I was relieved the day I picked up my Final divorce documents. Also, I even paid less than my ex wife ...paid her attorney.

Everything I wanted

Thanks again to Mrs. Fouche, I was referred to her by a colleague who said she handled their case quickly for a reasonable fee. I wanted to be done with my ex and his constant drama without him trying to take everything like he threatened. Mrs. Fouche sets the standards of how a client should be p...rotected in a divorce and I will give her name to my family and friends.

Great divorce if there is such a thing.

Exceptional, I see why this lawyer is in the tops of divorce in Garden City and for the care and skill I received I believe that the money I spent was reasonable. Especially for what I received. Beyond her reputation she really did treat me with care and compassion. I know my ex wanted to harass me i...n our divorce like in my marriage, but my lawyer took care of that.

Exceptionally unethical & unprofessional!

Please read this before you even consider this attorney and her firm!! I can back up every statement with proof and I would be more than happy to provide same. The retainer agreement stated several items of which she did not hold up her end on such as furnishing copies of everything. I never r...eceived a copy of anything, not even the petitions she filed on my behalf. I never received a copy of the Consent to Change Attorney or the file accompanying same. In fact, normally the attorney sends you notification of appearances and I was requested to let them know when the appearance is when the time got closer. In total I paid $2,500 (8/30/17-11/15/17) before I declined further services and I never received a thing from her, she didn't do what I asked of her and it only consisted of 3 appearances, ALL of which were either dismissed or adjourned. The one thing received from this firm was the invoice, via email, which had several errors (spelling and grammatical) as did the Caption (spelling of my name) of the CCA which I was mortified of since I then was concerned if the petitions they filed on my behalf probably had several errors as well. Her associate, Amanda Reilly showed up at Court reeking of cigarettes. Even in her employee, Augustine's signature line in his email, Mrs. Fouche's spelling of HER OWN NAME OF HER FIRM was spelled incorrectly. She is filing legal documents with the Court on my behalf with such errors. I had to ask in 7 EMAIL REQUESTS if the Consent to Change Attorney was filed yet. Finally after the 7th time, I got a response that "it was filed weeks ago"-- to which I asked why I wasn't notified, why I was not provided a copy and why was I not sent a copy of my file, especially the petitions that were filed that I never received a copy of. I have yet to get a response and my trial FOR MY TWO CHILDREN is TOMORROW!!!! I HAD TO PAY $250 as half the payment as Court ordered for my case to begin investigation, I asked Amanda via email (I have everything in email thank god) what to do because the clerk said they couldn't locate the file and her reply was "all I can tell you is call the Court"!!!!! That's what my $2,500 legal representative advised me. Meanwhile, I found out the Court does not take the payments over the phone. That's something they should have known if they "specialize" in this area of practice, correct? There were so many mortifying experiences with this firm all in a matter of 2 1/2 months and just 3 appearances. As someone who has worked for attorneys, I was mortified by the unethical conduct and lack of professionalism. I have over 15 years of experience juggling strong and "difficult" personalities as one who has worked with attorneys, and again, saying I am mortified with Ms. Fouche', her Associate, Amanda and her employee Augustine is quite an understatement. I strongly urge you to continue your search on an attorney and do not give this woman and her firm any consideration.

Divorce

After 3 years dealing with the firm that seem to care the very first 6 months I began to notice that there priorities were more with high profile divorces. They had very little to do with me drag there feet for so long I had follow up continuously. I provide them with all the paper work, did all the... financial aspect of the settlement. Only to walk away with a divorce that led me to sign a stipulation that was not in my favor nor clear. Attorney are meant to fight for you this is why we paid them. I chose this firm because I thought she would be on my side, make it point that What I sign was indeed in my best interest. Needless to say my ex husband did not comply with many of the terms of the stipulation after judgment (after I made it clear he would default) went back to see her sat in the office waited for an hour half to hear from another lawyer that she will not answer questions unless I issues them another retainer fee in order to address the issues that were not resolved. You can say that pretty insulting after she been paid in full for the divorce. Emails left unanswered, voice mail never returned. Very disappointed upset I would not recommend her unless your assets are worth her salary
