Anna Gavrysh

I focus my practice on estate planning, elder law, probate, Medicaid planning, guardianships, and real estate matters as an Associate at Futterman Lanza, LLP. My path to becoming an attorney began with seven years of experience as a paralegal in elder law, which gave me not only technical skills but also a deep understanding of the challenges families face in planning for the future. That experience shaped my passion for helping clients protect their assets, secure needed care, and achieve peace of mind.

I have prepared numerous estate planning documents, assisted with probate administration and Medicaid applications, and participated in mediations involving contested estate matters. In addition, I am regularly appointed by the courts as a Court Evaluator in Article 81 guardianship proceedings in Queens and Kings Counties, where I investigate cases, prepare reports, and appear at hearings to protect vulnerable individuals. I also represent clients in residential real estate transactions, including purchase and sale closings.

Fluent in Russian and Ukrainian, I am able to serve clients in multiple languages and create a sense of comfort and trust with families navigating difficult legal decisions. My approach is always diligent, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s needs.

I primarily work out of our Garden City office and also meet with clients in our Smithtown, Melville, and Bay Shore offices as needed.
