If your signature was forged, you need to report that to the authorities who have the ability to investigate and potentially prosecute the forger....

Do not represent yourself. Any thing you say can and will be used against you. There will be an attorney present to assist with your arraignment...

This is a civil matter and the store can seek damages for your alleged larceny regardless of the outcome of a criminal case. I have never seen them...
