Atty. Nick Caraquel is an outstanding, excellent and trustworthy immigration lawyer. March 31, 2015 was my husband and my interview for the Adjustment of Status and Petition of an Alien Relative. The very first thing the interviewer asked, "Did your lawyer tell you about what you need to do after... you get your green card? As such, your very first card will only be valid for 2 years and that you need to renew for the 10-year validity afterwards?" Of course he did. Wait, take me back to the final coaching session I had with my lawyer. If I remember correctly, my lawyer said that once my interviewer tells me the validity of the green card and the steps taken, it only means one thing, that my permanent residency has been approved. Now, why would my interviewer open my interview with that statement? And yes ladies and gentlemen, my case must have been far long approved even before the interview started.
