Natali J. H. Todd

Natali J.H. Todd, Esq. is an experienced criminal defense attorney in both the State and Federal courts in New York with extensive trial experience in both jurisdictions. Ms. Todd is committed to the vigorous representation of those accused of crimes and making sure that liberty’s last defense of fairness and justice prevails. Ms. Todd has represented hundreds of clients charged with a wide range of crimes including capital murder, murder during and in relation to a conspiracy, manslaughter, complex racketeering and narcotics conspiracies, terrorism, robberies, bail jumping, fraud, money laundering, corruption crimes, assault, burglary, vehicular crimes including DWI, firearm crimes, sex crimes, bribery, extortion and simple misdemeanor crimes.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Todd prosecuted crimes while serving as an Assistant District Attorney with the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. During her tenure with the prosecution’s office, Ms. Todd was involved in a variety of criminal cases running the gamut from the most serious crimes such as murder and other violent crimes including armed robberies and rape, to simple misdemeanor assaults and traffic infractions.

As a former prosecutor and now a defense attorney who has tried numerous cases to verdict over many years of practice, Ms. Todd has extensive experience on both sides of the litigation bar which provides a unique advantage and perspective in the skills necessary for a successful defense. The firm’s practice extends to sentencing, appeals, violation of parole and supervised release conditions, surrenders, false arrest and police brutality claims.

Ms. Todd is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Federal District Courts in New York (Southern, Eastern, Northern & Western Districts), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Ms. Todd is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, New York State Defenders Association, New York Criminal Bar Association, Kings County Criminal Bar Association, as well as a member of a pool of qualified criminal defense attorneys for indigent individuals in both New York State and the federal court.

Ms. Todd has also been selected as a member of the Judicial Screening Committee panel, which screens and makes recommendations regarding applicants seeking an appointment as a New York State Judge and current New York Judges seeking reappointment to the bench.

Ms. Todd is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University and a graduate of Brooklyn College with honors.
