People v. E.C.
N/AOUTCOME: We do not state outcome. Each case is different. Past performance is no indicator of future results. We do have an excellent record, but believe it is not a reliable measure to select an attorney.
At the time this case went to trial it was the largest fraud case ever brought in New York State. E.C. and his three co-defendants were accused of defrauding the elderly last surviving member of th ... e famed Brooklyn Lundy's Restaurant family of all his assets. It was charged that not only did they raid Mr. Lundy's bank and stock brokerage accounts, but ,also, by using disguises and a corrupt local attorney, the defendants were even able to steal several valuable tracts of farm land the family had owned in upstate New York for decades. The scheme was discovered only after Mr. Lundy died and his heirs discovered his estate was empty.
