Biography
Scott Salmonson has over 20 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Salmonson counsels many first responders and uniformed personnel, including Correction Officers for New York City, New York State, and memebers of FDNY EMS. In addition, Mr. Salmonson advises many members of D.C. 37 as well as Airline workers who are based out of New York State. Mr. Salmonson seeks to work closely with union members, their doctors, their unions as well as third party attorneys to obtain maximum benefits for his clients.
The firm and Mr. Salmonson laid essential groundwork for a case making the front page of the New York Law Journal in June, 2014. The case opened the door for an entire class of World Trade Center volunteers who were previously precluded from receiving Workers’ Compensation benefits and allowed them to pursue their cases.
