"I worked together with Ken Womble at The Legal Aid Society of Nassau County in the mid-2000s. We also worked together in Brooklyn as public defenders while at different public defense organizations. Ken was always a dedicated, skillful and smart attorney. He treated his clients with respect. Ken did all he could get the desired result for them, whether that was working out a favorable disposition or conducting a trial. In the private sector, Ken continues to do great things for his clients. Anyone with a criminal, civil rights, or family law issue would be lucky to have him as his or her attorney."

"I had the distinct pleasure of working with Mr. Womble for a number of years. He is one of the fiercest advocates for a client I have ever encountered. Mr. Womble's skills in the courtroom and remarkable, he simply sees things other lawyers don't. His passion for law and for defending his clients rights is palpable. I highly endorse Mr. Womble."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I tried a case with Ken Womble in Brooklyn Supreme Court as his second chair. The jurors immediately related to him and, as soon as he made his opening argument poking holes at the government's case, the prosecution knew it was all over for them. It was one of those rare "Perry Mason" moments that people say don't happen in courtrooms anymore. It happened because of Ken's relentless investigation, preparation, and not being afraid to fight it out. As an attorney, Ken will either seek the most favorable plea agreement possible or try the hell out of a case. As a federal public defender, I fully endorse Ken Womble as a criminal defense attorney."

"I have known and practiced with Ken for 10 years and can say without question that he is the finest criminal defense attorney that I have worked alongside or observed on a regular basis in court. I have watched Ken litigate and obtain acquittals in cases the vast majority of us in the community could not see the angle on, blinded as we were by facts and evidence that made anything other than a guilty verdict seem unrealistic. I have seen Ken obtain bail decisions permitting his clients to fight their cases whilst at liberty on criminally charged individuals who's charges indicated that they were headed toward remand, or a bail that would be impossible for their families to make. If I ever need advice on a case, or a sounding board on strategy, he is the first person whom I call. If you are in that most unfortunate of situations where you need a criminal defense attorney then contact Ken immediately."

"When I first joined Brooklyn Defender Services, I quickly learned of Mr. Womble’s reputation as a smart, confident, fierce advocate. I soon came to learn that this reputation was well-earned through observation of his work both from afar and up close. We worked together on a serious felony matter, in which I saw that his sensitivity to and zeal for our client’s position was matched only by his aggressive but professional pursuit of justice. Through investigations, hearings and oral arguments, Mr. Womble managed to earn a full dismissal for our client. Mr. Womble is an excellent attorney who achieves great results."

"I emphatically endorse Ken. Any person accused of a crime is in good hands with Ken. He is prepared, a fierce negotiator, a zealous advocate, and, if it gets to that point, one of the most talented trial attorneys I have ever seen speak to a jury. He has the ability to tell his client's story, to make his client human and relatable to those who are entrusted with judging his client. All the while, he presents his client's position clearly, logically and persuasively. Ken also has impermeable integrity. If you are charged with a crime, you should definitely consider hiring him."

"Ken Womble is in a small but elite group of criminal defense attorneys in Kings County: those that make D.A.'s think twice about going to trial. He consistently gets the best plea bargains for his clients, and will vigorously defend those who take their cases to trial. Ken has dedicated his career to fighting for the Constitutional rights of his clients. His trial skills are beyond question; what sets him apart, however, is his devotion to the details of a case. Ken's dedication to his clients and to the law is unwavering. I highly endorse him."
