In this case I was able to persuade the Dallas Court of Appeals to issue an order requiring the trial judge to withdraw his order which had limited my client's ability to freely depose the party seekin ... g insurance benefits. The trial judge had also ordered an "advanced sanction" of $ 100 for each question asked in violation of the order described above, and the court of appeals reversed that as well.
OUTCOME: Reversed in part and remanded in part
In this case, I was able to convince the Texas Supreme Court to reverse a decision by the San Antonio Court of Appeals. The case involved the issue whether the transmission of a communicable disease f ... rom a bus driver to the buses' passengers is an injury covered under the bus owner's commercial auto policy. The Court held that it was not.
