Construction and Development 50%

My construction practice is focused on transactional matters. That is, I endeavor to keep my clients out of court by savvy drafting and negotiation of the contract and judicious contract administration. While some projects inevitably end up in litigation, a well-developed and well-administered contract can make a big difference in whether one goes to courts, and what the outcome is when that happens.

Insurance 25%

Assisting clients in developing risk management programs and confirming the conformity of the insurance policies to the program, administering claims programs and suing insurance companies to enforce the policies.

Real Estate 25%

Real estate development is my core practice area, and some generic real estate work (conveyancing and mortgaging) is inevitable. I have especially long and strong experience helping lenders and borrowers navigate the treacherous shoals of the New York Lien Law.
