An attorney that does nothing

He charged me $400 for 6 camera light tickets and lost. l now have to pay for tickets and court costs and he would only refund me $250! I could’ve done this myself as I get paid to take off work. He never once said I would lose completely just that they would be reduced something. So I now owe $900 ...in tickets plus what I have already given him plus $90 in court costs.

What's the point of a lawyer if I could get the Same results in court?

I could've probabaly went to the court case myself and have gotten the same result as this lawyer did for me. Had a fine and points on a traffic violation after going to court for me.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
