You could file for a K3 visa but that might only speed things up by a couple months.

You cant get a waiver based on being separated. Once you have a final divorce you can then ask for a bonafiee marriage exemption to the joint...

You are confused - if the case is a consular processing case with the NVC there is no need to file for adjustment of status (I-485)
