You can correct at interview after you are sworn in and before officer asks questions. Be sure to bring a certified copy not just a copy.

It doesnt go by name on marriage cert it goes by name you put on forms and for the green card it can be changed at interview so card mailed to you...

If the petitioner doesnt want to help any more your case will not go through. You need them in process to submit affidavit of support
