A wonderful attorney in every way!

We were purchasing our first home and started with another attorney who was unresponsive and difficult to deal with. Thankfully we got referred to Adam by a friend. It was night and day. Adam kept in constant communication with us. He answered all of our questions and helped us navigate the process w...ith a difficult seller. We especially appreciated his sense of humor which helped us to relax a bit. We needed to extend the closing a bit because our bank was taking longer to close as a result of Covid. Adam handled it all and we are so happy to be in our new home! We highly recommend and have already referred him to a few people.

Unprofessional

I hired Adam to represent my wife and I for our first purchase of a home. In addition to being very expensive and non-responsive to basic questions, he became extremely angry and unprofessional when we asked to use our own title company. Apparently, he had some arrangement with them and he started y...elling and screaming when I just brought up the idea. In the end, I wish I ended the relationship then because his title company ended up missing a sidewalk repair that the previous owner failed to pay for. As a result, I ended up being responsible for the entire cost. When I asked Adam about it, he took several months to tell me that it wasn't his or the title company's fault. Took no accountability. I would encourage anyone out there to not use Adam for any purposes.

Very disappointed

I do not recommend the engagement of legal services of Adam Bayroff, Esq., unless you have enough money to hire an attorney to shadow him or, worse, you desire to be in communication with the Feds. January 31 marked the first year I had no communication with the Dept. of Justice and state agencies s...ince 2008 in connection with the sale of family owned residential property. You will more than likely come in contact with Adam Bayroff through a recommendation; however, we found his work to be sloppy and unprofessional. It was frustrating to work with him as he became angered when we raised questions about the negotiations. Our queries were met with histrionics and unprofessional conduct towards a client. His focus was solely on closing the deal, even if it meant it was to our financial disadvantage and to the total accommodation of the opposing party. He claimed to know a great deal about the market in that particular area. His performance clearly demonstrated that was not the case given a comparable property across the street sold at the same time for almost twice the asking price recommended to us (which sale was represented by his own father!) Further, Adam Bayroff arrived late to the closing which had been previously delayed largely due to his insistence that a stipulation of settlement be executed, wherein we would admit and agree to guilt over a lawsuit on the property – even though the case was bogus and had not even gone to the discovery phase. Of course we refused to sign the stip. We later discovered that he worked against our interests by failing to take advantage of information that would have strengthened our position in the deal. After filing complaints and doing even more research we discovered this transaction in which Adam Bayroff represented us was subsequently categorized as a “flipping scheme.” STEER CLEAR
