I was selling my house and needed an attorney for closing. I found Felicia via a Google search. I called other attorneys as well, but I decided to use Felicia for 2 reasons initially. First, she offered the most reasonable price. Secondly, I actually got a chance to speak to her over the phone and sh...e seemed very knowledgeable and thorough so I decided to hire her. I no longer live in New York, so this entire transaction was done via email and telephone. When dealing with any business transaction, one of the most frustrating things to encounter is poor communication. Waiting for a phone call or a response to an email can be very frustrating. This was not an issue with Felicia. If I emailed her with a question, 9 times out of 10, I would get an immediate reply. And the 10th time, I would receive a reply in a reasonable amount of time. The majority of our correspondence was via email. When we spoke on the phone, Felicia was always precise, informative, professional, personable and polite. And she always made sure I was clear on everything discussed prior to ending the call. I felt very confident in Felicia’s skills. So much so that I was comfortable giving her power of attorney at my closing so I would not have to attend. The entire process was smooth and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Also, Felicia’s husband is a divorce attorney. I was going to retain him for his services. I had a brief conversation with him over the phone and just like Felicia, he was precise, professional, knowledgeable, confident, personable and polite. It turned out that I didn’t need his services after all. He was polite enough to research my case for me and informed me that I didn’t need his services because I was already divorced. Duh! I really appreciated that. I would HIGHLY recommend Felicia to anyone who needs the services she provides. She truly was a pleasure to deal with!
