She seems well positioned to take advantage of people a time of heightened stress at the pending birth of their child. She charged me an excessive amount for a boiler-plate document that showed (file properties) that it was edited for only several minutes. In addition, her advice did not reflect know...ledge of the actual statute--I was more knowledgeable after about 2 hours online. Moreover, her recommended course of action actually worsened my situation. When I called her out on her lack of understanding of the statute and other failures of the document prepared, she claimed her assistant 'sent the wrong document' even though I had a conversation with the assistant regarding some of the content in the document–which the assistant confirmed with Ms. Finn. To Ms. Finn’s credit, she refunded me most of the money when I confronted her with my disappointment.

I wish I had done better research on Finn before employing her. I had basically the same experience as the previous poster. I knew more than she did. She did not present my case well. Did not put up a good argument using case laws. She took advantage of me when I was in a desperate situation by char...ging exorbitant fees, that she said I did not have to pay until the case is over. Before the case was over she started sending me bills. When I called she hung up. Or I could never get hold of her. She made a stressful situation even worse.
