OUTCOME: Successfully represented father on appeal. After presenting extensive briefing and oral arguments on the father's behalf, secured a final order from the Appellate Court affirming the Trial Court's decision which granted residential custody to the father.

The Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. secured an important courtroom victory for an Alsip Illinois father in a custody battle. After a three day trial in Rock Island County Illinois involving the t ... estimony of multiple witnesses including two psychologists and a treating physician, the Judge awarded the father residential custody of his four year old son. The mother appealed the Judge's ruling to the Appellate Court of Illinois, seeking a reversal of the Judge's award of residential custody to the father.

Brought Federal case under the auspices of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction on behalf of a United States citizen whose wife had allegedly secretly left the ma ... rital home in Illinois with the couple's nine month old son, and moved with the child to Poland.
