Argenis Steven Gonzalez

As a founder and managing partner of Raldiris & Gonzalez PLLC, my goal is to prioritze the needs and concerns of my clients above all else. I was admitted to practice as an attorney of the New York State Bar in 2020 and I am also admitted to practice in the Federal Courts of the U.S. Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York. In law school, I was a board member of the Immigration Law Students Association and competed as a trial attorney in the 2018 and 2019 AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition. I was also fortunate to intern as a legal assistant with Make The Road New York, the largest progressive immigrant-led grassroots organization in New York State. For me, it was an incredible opportunity to be able to give back to the people of Jackson Heights, Queens because it was the community that I grew up in. My parents are Ecuadorian immigrant who like many of the people living there aroun us, worked the longest hours for the lowest wages at dangerous jobs. My father was a day laborer and my mother worked in the remaining factories around the city. My younger brother and I learned to sacrifice wants for needs, to navigate between cultures and identities, and to speak multiple languages. Now that I am an attorney, my mission in life is to help anyone in any way I can just like the people of New York City helped me grow up to be the person I am today.
