Juvenile- unlawful use of a credit card, domestic battery & unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle.
Oct 20, 2017OUTCOME: Avoided convictions and DCFS placement
Our client was charged with four counts of unlawful use of a credit card, theft, domestic battery and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Additionally, DCFS guardianship was recommended, which would ... take the juvenile from her father's custody. Harter & Schottland succeeded in having the credit card charges and domestic battery dismissed. Additionally, the juvenile avoided convictions on the remaining charges. The request for DCFS guardianship was defeated and the juvenile was allowed to live with her mother.
