Worse Lawyer

Rob is one of the worst lawyers I have ever encountered. My son was in a car accident where he fell off of the back of a car and his head hit the car bumper and then the street. He was dazed and confused and could barely stand up. My husband was the first to arrive at the scene of the accident and we...nt with my son in the ambulance to Jamaica Hospitals trauma unit because he had five bleeds on the brain and two air pockets had developed; he was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center. When I arrived at the hospital I was informed, they needed the motor vehicle accident report because it was reported to 911 as a car accident, so I called the car owner and asked for the information which she refused to give me. That is when I called Trainor and Associates and was given Rob Cristiano as a lawyer. Rob seemed very confused at our first meeting, he states he never handled a car accident incident when the injured party was not in a car, he claimed he reached out to his associates for advice. Well, at my sons disposition he seemed even more confused mixing up the events of the day of the accident. My son, who was a child and I were alone at the disposition and even though I asked Rob "shouldn't my husband take time off from work and come with us?" Rob responded no that was not necessary. When they started to ask me all these questions regarding the scene of the accident I could not answer because I was not there. That's when I knew I made a real mistake hiring this lawyer Cristiano. My husband was at the scene of the accident and could have given them all the information they were asking me about. Needless to say Rob was not good at his job at all, and he can be very condensing. I would give him a zero 0 rating if that was an option! He is the absolute worse lawyer!

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
