Sherene Hannon de Palma

I hired Sherene and went through a court appearance with her successfully. But for the next appearance, I could not get her attention for 7 days to submit paperwork. She is a divorce lawyer, but it took her a week to forward the divorce filling from my spouse. One week to forward the most impo...rtant email. She overbooks herself and falsely markets having seven other attorney's of counsel -- none were available when she was busy. Sherene really damaged my legal position by being unavailable

Like another review states, she consumed a massive retainer and my case did not progress for months. When we did get to court, which I said I did not want to do but rather try a mediation approach, her '"of council" attorney, who actually has her own firm, effectively outsourcing my case without tell...ing me, arrived completely unprepared. In fact she had to ask opposing council questions about points of law, and this is in the official transcript, opposing council stated that Depalma and her "of council" representative changed a document without alerting opposing council, exposing me to the potential of having to pay my interlocutor's legal fees. When confronted about this egregious act she did not object. She just sat stone faced. You are better off being Pro Se.

Hired her for my divorce case and paid $4,000 retainer. She was on my case for about 3 months - my case did not take even a step forward. I fired her after that and had to ask her many times to return my left over balance. She finally sends only $150 back with charges that were false. She said she wo...rked on my case for so many hours - without my knowledge and I don't even know what she did. And plus, on the retainer balance check she changes my name totally. How can she not know my last name if she really worked on my case that she said she did! Very very sweet talker though. But beware of her games!
