The best law Firm in Westchester

I recently went through a challenging and contentious divorce, and I couldn't have navigated through it without the invaluable assistance of the Kitson Law Firm. From our first consultation to the final resolution, Pat proved to be a beacon of honesty and straightforwardness, providing me with the su...pport and guidance I desperately needed during this emotionally charged process. One of Pat's standout qualities is its unwavering commitment to transparency. In an environment where emotions can cloud judgment, Pat consistently presented the facts with clarity and honesty. Thanks to Pat's candid communication style, I always felt well-informed and empowered to make the best decisions for my situation. Pat's straightforward approach was a breath of fresh air during a time when confusion and ambiguity seemed to be the norm. Pat and her team were knowledgeable about the legal intricacies of divorce and keenly understood the emotional toll it takes on individuals. Pat's ability to balance legal expertise with empathy made me feel heard and supported throughout the entire process. Furthermore, Pat demonstrated high professionalism and dedication to my case. Timely responses to my inquiries, thorough preparation for court proceedings, and a proactive approach to potential challenges indicated Pat's commitment to achieving the best possible outcome. I never felt like just another case; instead, I felt like a priority, which made a significant difference in my overall experience. Pat's professionalism, legal expertise, and genuine concern for her clients make her an exceptional advocate during tough times. Pat's guidance led to a favorable resolution and gave me the peace of mind I needed to move forward with my life. I am genuinely grateful for Pat's assistance and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy and reliable legal ally. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to the team led by Pat, with a special mention of Mr. James Haffner. Their unwavering dedication and hard work have been instrumental in achieving our goals.

inappropriate, threatening

Beware: after writing a negative review on google she started threatening me to take it down first by calling my mother and then in personal emails to me. I would take her review score with a grain of salt as she may have threatened others and intimated them to take reviews down. See below the neg...ative review that she told my mother was defamation and emailed me it is false, actionable and she will proceed according. my review is below and is my perspective and gives no false facts. She is scary. Horrible, nasty, rude and greedy with no professional accountability. My husband refused to provide support and was terrorizing me. I asked for help with a restraining order and getting support she said I NEED to wait till the divorce. She criticized, berated and blamed me. She would not call back for 4 days when I was being terrorized by my husband. She did not want to do anything but be a go between between me and him. She seemed to not know anything when I asked to stop my husband from taking my kids for a month to his old country and said I should let him take them. She keep berating me asking me over and over if he has permission to go. I kept saying I don't know the law. I expected her to know the custody laws but she didn't seem to know.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
