Dina Marie Aversano

Dina began her career with an established White Plains, New York based law firm. There she learned the “ins and outs” of the practice of law, often working late nights on a variety of litigated cases, and handling all aspects of a file from inception to trial. She learned under a great variety of mentors and developed her own niche in the field of litigation. Dina quickly earned the respect of her colleagues and became known before the courts as an effective communicator, having been recognized as a Rising Star in the New York Metro Area for four consecutive years beginning in 2015.

Using the wealth of knowledge she gained practicing litigation in the private sector, Dina switched over to the public sector in 2018 where she served as a Senior Deputy Attorney for the Putnam County Attorney’s Office. There, she served as general counsel to the County and its departments and agencies, providing advice to the County to minimize risk and follow a best course of practice consistent with the law as well as representing and defending the County in a diverse number of municipal lawsuits.

Throughout her legal career, Dina approaches each case with detail, focusing on how to maximize results and effectively communicate her client’s position, captivating the court’s attention and that of her adversary. She enjoys being able to practice law in the town that she grew up in and help members of her community with various legal matters including estate planning, the probate and administration of an estate, and residential real estate transactions. 

Dina received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Boston College and her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Pace University School of Law. She is admitted to practice before the Courts of the States of New York and Connecticut, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
