I have never used Avvo before let alone had the need to hire a lawyer, but I was in a jam and felt I had no choice. I received two tickets a Moved from Lane Unsafely & speeding over 55. I am a college student with not a lot of money and to make matters worse I attend school out of state. I kept putti...ng off my court date asking for extensions, Finally the court denied it and told me that they would suspend my license. I frantically looked online and after doing some research I found Mr. Lee Shelton, I called him and spoke over the phone with him. I was very frantic and very emotional as I did not want my license suspended. His fee was very reasonable as with those two tickets I was facing possible penalties for these tickets of 9 points on my New York driving record, $636 in fines, a $525 driver responsibility assessment fee. which is a big chunk of change for a college student, so I hired him and he went to court for me, he called moments after he left court and informed me that he was able to have both tickets turned into parking violations and those tickets have NO POINTS, and will not appear on my driving record and will not affect my insurance premiums. I am very grateful for his calm level-headed approach and his honesty. If you want an honest, ethical, and realistic lawyer he is the man for you.
