Thanks to Mr. Lee Shelton, my 8-point speeding penalty [89mph in 55mph] was reduced to non-speeding disobeying traffic device violation which has a 2-point penalty. This is a very good outcome. I only had to pay a fine of 175$. If I had the 8-point penalty speeding violation instead, I would have had... to pay a fine of at least 693$ along with a driver responsibility fee of 450$ per year for 3 years.
