I got pulled over, and the cop told me I was going significantly higher than the speed limit-- 29 mph over. (I was driving out in Western NY with wide-open highways, and wanted to be back home quick to see my grandmother, who had taken a turn for the worse the previous day. Thank G-d, she held out fo...r another week after I got home.) 29 mph over the speed limit is a lot. I didn't want to get points on my license, but with a speed that high, I figured it was unavoidable. I looked into MJA Law as well as a few others, contacted their office, and decided that they were my best bet. I hired them (for what it's worth, at a better price than I could find anywhere else), and they told me-- as I figured-- that the likely outcome would be 2-3 points and a high fine. I submitted the necessary paperwork, which wasn't too much, and they sent me an email notice that they had submitted a "Not Guilty" plea in my name. They informed me that cases often take months to resolve, and that they would be in contact if they needed anything else from me. Lo and behold, three weeks later, I get an email from MJA Law with the a letter from the Justice enclosed. All charges dismissed! No points, no fine, no nothing-- just the lawyer's fee that I paid in the beginning, which was really lower than anything else I found. I don't know if MJA are magicians, or wizards, or sorcerers, or whatever, but I do know that I was more than satisfied with the job they did. And I bet that you will be, too.
