Heather Gushue, Esq. recently handled my legal name change, and I found every aspect of her service to be exemplary. We met in person to discuss the process, and Heather very clearly, concisely explained everything to me step by step. Thereafter, she kept me continually apprised of progress through ...each of the steps she'd outlined for me (drafting of the name-change court order submission; review and approval by the appropriate judge in my jurisdiction; publication in a local newspaper, etc.). Although this legal matter was fairly straightforward, there were some nuances related to my prior legal names (birth name changed after I was legally adopted; name changes related to my prior marriage and divorce; etc.).
