Truck Accident A young lady was severely injured when a truck veered into her lane and crushed the front of her car. She was extricated from the car with a compound fracture of her leg. A law suit was filed after the Trucker's Insurance refused to offer sufficient compensation to the young lady. Three years later, after much litigation, the Truckers Insurance company agreed to settle the case for $400,000.

OUTCOME: Class X Felony Charges Dropped by Prosecutor

Defendant was randomly stopped by police while crossing the street then searched. A small amount of cannabis was found in his jacket then defendant "consented" to a police search of his home where a m ... uch larger quantity of drugs were found. After Ruben Sanmiguel argued a motion to quash arrest the judge found the police improperly stopped and violated defendant's constitutional rights. All evidence obtained by police after the bad stop was supressed. All charges were subsequently dropped by the prosecutor.
