Annmarie took care of the sale of my old house and purchase of my new one. During the sale of the old house, there were some problems that occurred at the last minute, originating from my buyer's finance company and lawyer, which would have delayed both closings, However Annmarie was diligent and sol...ved the problems without any delay. I found her to be conscientious and very dedicated to me as client and always having our best interest first. Having her counseling me throughout both transactions was one of the best decisions I made.

I worked with Annmarie for a recent residential real estate closing and was absolutely thrilled with her service. She possessed two traits that were my biggest priorities in a lawyer: (1) command of her domain expertise, and (2) the patience to explain complex topics to someone who is not a lawyer.... Annmarie struck just the right balance of not being condescending but not watering down her explanations either; I always felt like a valued client and despite my lack of legal background, I never felt she was speaking down to me. She twice helped save the deal and protected us from a potentially costly and litigious tax matter by ensuring that money from the seller was in es...crow after the sale to cover back taxes that would likely be assessed due to a tax abatement that had ended 12 months earlier. Months after the closing I received a big tax bill due to that ended abatement and thanks to Annmarie the money was already in escrow and I did not have to pay a dime or stress about getting the money from the sellers. This alone covered Annmarie's fee and, as an attorney, I know that not all lawyers would have picked up on this potential tax abatement issue. I would definitely recommend Annmarie to handle real estate transactions and if I ever buy another property I plan to use her again.
