Not really. The judge may ask the seven year old a few questions, but the answers will not have any particular weight unless the child suggests one...

The same as any other spouse. Military status does not alter divorce law in terms of financial distributions.

If you file a petition it should be in the county of current residence. He would be well advised to have an attorney and to discuss the situation...
