The court may or may not notice. If it does the case may be dismissed - but usually not without a warning.

You can't make his lawyer do his job faster. You can only get your own lawyer and push the issue..

If you have no custody order there is no legal requirement. But if he's an addict and you leave the children with him you may be committing child...
