Guardianship

OUTCOME: I won the case and my client became his guardian.

I represented a Sister who wanted guardianship of her Brother. At the time her brother was 57 years old and diagnosed with Alcohol Induced Dementia. He had excellent long term memory but his short te ... rm memory was getting worse. He was represented by an attorney, and he told his attorney different things at different times. Sometimes he was ok to have his sister be guardian, and other times, he was strictly opposed. Therefore we went to full trial and had two medical doctors as witnesses.
