NOT RECOMMENDED

I hired him to sell a property. He didn't give me a contract but orally informed me it was $1200. At the closing he asked for $1856. I asked why, He said "for disbursements" . I requested to know exactly what these services were and he was unable to provide an itemized list with receipts. He said I... signed a Power of Attorney and he charged me $250 for that. I asked other real estate lawyers how much that would be and was told is $75. He never had time to see me from May when I hired him till October when I had the closing. He was not prepared for the closing and made me wait one hour and a half after the closing was over. Everybody had left and he held me waiting for a check in the value of $110,000. I went to ask him about what money was due to me and what money I had to pay, but he refused to talk to me and threw me out of his office. I refused to leave because I wanted to take my money from selling the house. He screamed at me and insulted me and called me " a despicable" person. I should have sold the house earlier, but I couldn't because of him. He made me sign the contract and didn't inform me that the sellers were not ready for another 6 months. I found other buyers who wanted to pay more, but I was already tied to this contract. I lost a lot of money because of this . He should have informed me. Then the seller and their agent kept asking me to go to closing, but my attorney wasn't ready so it took another 8 days which cost me almost $1000 in interest and maintenance fees while the house was empty. I left his office in tears. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS
