David was recommended to me by Colleagues from the Department of Corrections. He handled a criminal case for me . I think he charged me approximately 4K or 4,500 I do not recall but it was along those lines. He was a good attorney he just utilized a lot of profanity and he was passionate about how he... felt about other collegeaues that he felt with and judges in his time of practice. He was able to have my criminal case cleared and closed with no penalty or charges and I was greatful. In addition, when I went to the courts to file paper work and have meeting with the judges on my custody case he was helpful because when I was in the court house filing the paper work and petitions I called him a couple times for his guidance and although he had my criminal case he was helpful in guiding me in the custody case , child support case and visitation case. So, he was reasonable , affordable, helpful and honest about his feelings about the judges we had to deal with during these proceedings. He just curses a lot but he is cool and down to earth .

I heard about David through a family friend a while back after getting a DWI on New Years eve a few years back and needless to say it was one of the best decisions of my life. I first met David at about 10 pm on holiday after spending almost 22 hours in jail accused of driving while intoxicated. Unknown to me at the time, my husband had hired David earlier that day after receiving a recommendation from our family attorney. Without hesitation, David accepted the case and c...ame to criminal court in Manhattan to defend me on that holiday night. I have never been in a criminal court room, much less a defendant in a criminal proceeding, and I was scared and clueless as to what was going on. All I did know was that I had been up for over 24 hours, without a shower and sitting next to people charged with much more serious crimes than me. David handled the arraignment flawlessly. Because I had a high “blow”, the ADA was only offering a misdemeanor, 2 days of community service, a 6 month suspended license and an ignition interlock device on my car. That night David rejected their offer and afterwards explained the strategy he would use to convince the ADA that a misdemeanor was an excessive plea given my age, (read: Mature lady) and the fact that I have never been involved in a criminal proceeding. Well, it took several months, 2 postponements and calls to the ADA, her supervisor, and the lead ADA for both misdemeanors and felonies to get them to re-consider their offer. This was the hard, behind the scenes work that David did for me! Of course, there was no guarantee that David would be successful, but I felt very comfortable that David had the experience and the ability to argue for a reduced offense. In the end, David was successful, the charge was reduced to a violation, I had my license suspended for just 90 days and the community service was eliminated from my plea. I could not be happier with the work that David did for me. He is great guy that was fully engaged on my behalf with extensive court room experience, (he was also an ADA in the Bronx for many years). David has a keen mind and a friendly person.
