Victory for a Falsely Accused Father

OUTCOME: I quashed service of Summons and vacated all orders associated with the defective service of summons. Justice has prevailed.

I secured victory for a falsely accused father who was heading to jail for non-payment of child support for a child that was not his. The system failed this man because Illinois Department of Health Ca ... re and Family Services failed to serve summons and failed to properly notify this man to appear in court. The State of Illinois proceeded in his absence and entered errant child support orders against my client. The State suspended his driver's licence and this client was about to go to jail.
