I engaged with Valerie on the referral from a dear friend to assist me through what was poised to be a long and arduous divorce. I can say with full confidence that choosing her to represent me was the best choice. Valerie answered all of my questions up front and straight even if the answer I wanted... to hear was not the answer given, she is extremely professional and empathetic. When I began the process I had many concerns from a mental aspect and financial aspect Valerie listened and understood where I was coming from she eased my anxiety. She not only provided valuable advice relating to my Divorce she assisted me with other personal matters and did so some time after hours and on weekends. Valerie's guidance and empathetic approach ultimately led to my wife and I reconciling; one would think that would be the last thing a Divorce attorney would want to have happen, not her. She heard everything that went on and was always working towards the best interest of me and more importantly my children and for that i cannot thank her enough. I would be remiss if i failed to mention that she is "Pitbull" when she defends her clients, she commands the room and keeps the other attorney completely off their game. I don’t know why anyone could post anything negative about Valerie’s services as the top notch lawyer on SI , other than they are angry over her knowledge and services she has an expertise divorce lawyer and that she can’t be reckoned with . She fights for what’s right and gets things done . I retain...ed her a few years ago as my lawyer through a very difficult divorce , and she went above and beyond to defend me and look after my future needs as well as my children’s needs . She protected me in ways I didn’t even realize at the time . She definitely dotted her i’s and crossed her T’s in ever part of my divorce agreement. Valerie was able to stand up to any other lawyer that is in her field and give them a tough challenge . Her knowledge and wisdom about the divorce proceedings and court system were impeccable!
