The district attorney filed charges against me on May 17th, but the offense happened May 15th. I was arrested on May 21st.

You can try to file a motion to vacate alleging that you were denied due process. Speak with a local attorney and see if he can develop a strategy.
The State is required to prove your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. If they can't, you win. You may also be eligible for a speedy trial dismissal.
