The statute of limitations in NY is 5 years. I do not know what it is in New Jersey.

I do not think that motor vehicle violations result in bench warrants. Failure to appear does result in a default judgment and an unpaid fine...

Why would you want to leave Peru? If you are working the streets, there is little work in Pennsylvania.
