I do not think that you are accused of a crimke, but hiring an attorney and seeking a dismissal is the best route to take.

Indicted does not equal convicted. A person is only sentences after he loses trial or enters a plea of guilty.
It all depends on what he pleads...

I know of no prohibition regarding a probation officer's ability to tell someone why you are on probation. By the way, it's a matter of public record
