If only a traffic ticket, they will likely not violate him, assuming he has a drivers license and did not violate curfew, etc.

You need a lawyer. He needs to petition the parole board to change your restrictions.

You cannot unilaterally change your sentence. If you want to stop doing weekends, get the judge to re-sentence you.
