On July 4, 2014, after 30+ years of practicing law at top tier and boutique law firms, I declared my independence by establishing my own law practice.  I am very pleased with the results.  Much of my success is due to so many people who have supported me by continuing as clients, becoming new clients, and referring new clients to me.

I continue to work with a wide variety of clients in the Healthcare industry, including Physicians, Physician Practices, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Hospitals, Dental Practices, Home Health Companies, Health Home Companies, Pharmaceutical Consulting Companies, and not-for-profit agencies.

At the same time, I have expanded my practice to meet the needs of clients in a variety of other exciting and interesting industries, including, notably, the Restaurant and Hospitality, Fashion and Design, Real Estate, and Social Media, Internet and Telecommunications industries.

Moreover, I continue to work on a broad range of matters including employment agreements, novel and sophisticated contracts, capital raising, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate formation and governance, acquisitions and dispositions, dispute resolution and litigation oversight, business structuring, and compliance related matters.  I even represented a group of 13 people who together won the lottery and I am assisting a client with acquiring a major interest in a well-known professional sports team.

In January, 2015, I also became “Of Counsel” to Morea Schwartz Bradham Friedman & Brown LLP.  As a result, I now have access to a deep bench of excellent attorneys who can back me up on large transactions, who can litigate on behalf of my clients, and who provide invaluable intellectual property support.  Moreover, I maintain relationships with other attorneys who I regularly consult on FINRA and other broker-dealer issues, tax matters, government relations issues, and healthcare compliance matters.
