Biography
ANDREW D. STERN is a partner in the firm’s litigation department. He concentrates on trials and appeals before state and federal courts in New York. Drew has focused on civil litigation relating to real estate in the fields of commercial and residential landlord tenant relationships, housing regulation, including housing discrimination, commercial contracts, construction, condominium foreclosure, administrative law, and land use. He has also represented individual clients in a wide range of litigation matters including estate, matrimonial, and not-for-profit corporate shareholder litigation.
Drew was born and currently resides in New York City. He attended Oberlin College (1995-1996), and received a B.A. from Boston University (1999) and a J.D. from Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (2003). He was admitted to the bar of the State of New York and U.S. District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 2004.
Drew was a co-Author of Property Assessment Inventories: Now Accessible Through FOIL, Nassau Lawyer, December 2008. His recently reported cases include Stein v. The Art Students League of New York, 29 1226(A) (2010).
