The parents, of one child, were divorced pursuant to a settlement agreement that was incorporated into a Judgment of Divorce. The settlement agreement provided that the parties share joint legal and p ... hysical custody of their young son. Sabrina B. retained Andrew H. Wood, Esq. to modify the terms of the parties' settlement agreement and Judgment of Divorce that pertained to legal and physical custody of the parties' son. After a two day hearing in family court, Sabrina B. was awarded sole legal and primary physical custody of her son. Jeffrey B. was awarded parenting time pursuant to the Judge's Order. After the trial, Jeffrey B. appealed the decision of the family court. Andrew represented Sabrina before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department with regard to the appeal. Andrew successfully argued on behalf of Sabrina B. that the family court's decision should be upheld. The Appellate Division found in favor of Sabrina B. and, as a result, Sabrina B.'s award of sole legal and primary physical custody was continued.
